Update: The girl was born in 1989 (20 yrs-old) and she is home-schooled. She has hit the headmistress with a cell phone and thrown a coffee pot at the headmistress. Again I'm against the lashing punishment but I also hate spreading the lies and racism as much as I despise ignorance. If you hate Islam or Muslims , that's your problem. Go see a psychiatrist

This is bullshit. There is no such law. All they do is confiscate the mobile phones. How do I know? Because I live in HERE IN SAUDI ARABIA AND GO TO SCHOOL HERE.

Dhaka, Jan. 26 (ANI): A 16-year-old Bangladeshi rape victim was given 101 lashes as "punishment" for conceiving during assault, while the alleged rapist was left untouched.

Apart from issuing the 101 lashes fatwa, the village arbitrators also fined the victim's father 1,000 takas and issued another fatwa that her family would be forced into isolation if he failed to pay up, Bangladesh's Daily Star newspaper reported.According to family, Enamul Mia of Gabbari, 20, used to eve-tease the girl on her way to her school. He raped her in April last year, but the girl didn't disclose the incident fearing shame.Human rights activists said, the girl, who was quickly married after the attack, was divorced weeks later after medical tests revealed she was pregnant.On January 17, the influential group arranged the arbitration at the yard of the victim.At one stage of the inhuman torture, the girl collapsed and fainted. She regained her sense after two hours."Enamul has spoiled my life. I want justice," said the girl as tears rolled down from her eyes. (ANI)
